Project QC Engineer

Summary

Implementing quality standards, policies and procedures for all entities within MID in a manner that satisfies the set quality objectives, as well as performing periodic audits to make sure that all entities are complying and conforming to the set standards.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Participating in setting, reviewing and upgrading the quality standards, policies and procedures for all entities within the company for keeping them up to date and ensuring highest quality standards is achieved.
  • Performing periodic quality audits for assuring that entities within MID are abiding by the set standards, policies and procedures.
  • Preparing periodic reports of engineering audits findings with performance percentages against preset compliance levels and pushing them to concerned entities with a copy sent to the department manager.
  • Maintaining records on all audits performed and retaining records of all written and documented quality standards, policies and procedures.
  • Investigating and handling complaints of unsatisfied clients with regards to defective or not up to the standards work and taking the necessary corrective actions for maintaining the highest quality values, taking into consideration test reports and work progress records.
  • Continuously monitoring and checking the developed standards, policies and procedures and looking for ways of improvement to simplify the procedures but ensuring the enhancement of quality.
  • Performing quality assurance engineering audits on materials received to the general warehouses for ensuring they are in compliance with the set quality standards.
  • Suggesting corrective actions whenever problems arise at the construction site and assisting in compiling all construction related documents.
  • Inspection of construction work, and materials compliance with project’s requirements.

Job Specifications:

  • Education Level: B.Sc. in Civil Engineering or another related field
  • Experience: 5-7 years’ experience in a related field
  • Languages Required: Proficiency in both written and spoken Arabic and English languages
  • Training required:
    • Advanced training courses in Quality Assurance Auditing Techniques 
    • Advanced training courses in Quality Assurance Standards Technical
