    Construction of dual carriageway with 2 x 3.65 m travel lanes in each direction plus 3.0 m shoulders plus 0.50m verge and a central median of 4.5m wide with New Jersey barrier. The total roadway width is 26.10m with minimum right of way of 80m. Climbing lanes are added where applicable and the road length is 8.5km, including:

    • Construction of Overpass 9 – 80m long bridge, post-tensioned.
    • Construction of Overpass 10 & 11, each with a length of 75m, post-tensioned.
    • Construction of Overpass 12, 165m long 12m wide and box girder construction, post-tensioned.
    • Construction of Zarqa Eastern Bypass Interchange with Overpass 5 which is 80m long and dual deck of 35m wide, post-tensioned.
    • Relocation, realignment and diversion of existing utilities.
    • Construction of Viaduct #2, pre-cast girder structure with post-tensioning and 340m long with a 50m section constructed with structural steel beams
    • Construction of approximately ten (10) km of service roads.
    • Construction of 3 No.'s Underpasses of which the longest is 160m
    • Various reinforced box culverts and protection structures around Existing Siphon pipeline of which the biggest is 10m wide, 6m in height and 65m long
    • Traffic control devices
    • Telecommunication civil works
    • Street lighting installations for the interchanges
    • Street lighting civil works for the mainline and interchanges
    • Traffic signing and traffic marking
    • Traffic safety installations and slope protection treatments
    • Drainage works including culverts, dykes, slope protection and ditches
